DMACC Business Resources (DBR)

Des Moines Area Community College (DMACC) Business Resources helps grow businesses in Central Iowa. They do this by identifying an organization's needs and their root causes, clearing the right path for the organization to address those needs, and guiding them to the proper resources to allow them to grow.  They also administer the popular 260E & 260F Jobs Training Programs in Central Iowa. 


Iowa Department of Revenue

Provides information, publications, forms, and updates for residents and businesses about tax filing and preparation.  This site allows businesses to apply for required permits online and explore property tax credits and exemptions, among many other things.


Iowa Economic Development Authority (IEDA)

The Iowa Economic Development Authority (IEDA) offers a variety of programs and services to individuals, communities and businesses to attract and grow business, employment and workforce in Iowa.  Their website includes information that will help businesses looking the start, grow, or relocate explore the many options available to them right here in Iowa.


Iowa Small Business Development Center (IA SBDC)

The Iowa SBDC provides free, confidential, customized, professional business advice and consulting to entrepreneurs and existing businesses with 500 employees or less. They can assist those who would like assistance writing a business plan, planning a marketing strategy, developing cash flow projections, doing market research, and more.
